The old intercooler used to utilize two cast end tanks and now have these big sheet metal end tanks instead.
The inlet inside diameter is almost 20% larger now!
Notice the mismatched welding gloves hehe

Here is the second part of the cross over pipe not mounted. We are going to use a TiAL 44mm instead of the 38mm only because the customer plans on building a bigger CID motor later on.
Notice the bracing on the wastegate. This is way our turbo systems last vs. the rest of the competition. Instead of just building support brackets to brace the flange, we build around the entire pipe to strengthen it.
