Ok well put it this way, and I know on this board most will not agree with me, but having owned both cars, I think I should have a little knowledge about them.
You can see the Vette's in my sig (mainly my FRC) since it was the fast one. I also had an 03 Cobra with all the bolt ons and a 2.3 Whipple. I sold the Cobra to buy another car and ended up picking up the FRC, and about 6 months ago I sold the FRC. Now looking back, I dont really miss the FRC, but I do miss my old Cobra. Yeah the Vette handles better, get's more looks and was faster. However I miss the sound of the Cobra IMO Stangs sound way nicer than LS cars, I miss the sound of the twin screw, and I miss the fact that it was somewhat of a sleeper. The Cobra was also way cheaper to mod than the Vette (vette tax is a bitch) Hell, ported blower, smaller pulley, tune and 150 shot and you have a VERY fast Cobra, for what $1500. Not only that, everything else, clutches, headers, exhaust's, everything. Dont get me wrong I love our 02 Z, but right now if you put a Cobra and a Z06 in front of me I would take the Cobra 9 out of 10 times. I also hate not having any room, another reason I sold the FRC. We had 2 Vette's and it was just not practical, I like having a little bit of room.
Anyway, i could go on, but you need to drive a Z and go from there.
