No advice on the carb, just a heads-up on your #7118. Be aware it can only use pre-programmed timing pills that all have too much timing for the LS-1 motors. The difference between the Edelbrock controller and the MSD are numerous, your 7118's
(lack of) programmability being the main issue. Search around here, lot's of info on the differences...
