Stock Bottom & Boost - Reliability List I am wanting to make a comparative list of how long the LS1 stock bottom end has lasted under boost and eventually make it a sticky. Generally I see everyone say 550rwhp, I just want to see how valid this statement roughly is.
So the people I want to reply in the thread are ones who have ran boost on a stock bottom end (pistons, rings, rods). Even if you broke something in the motor, still post up. Post only cars you own(ed). Here is the format I'd like to see it in:
- Type of Forced Induction (Turbo/Supercharger)
- Boost Amount / RWHP
- Miles on the car when FI installed
- Miles ran since FI has been on the car (ie: current mileage) - IF you broke the motor, list what was broken.
