well guys, went to the track today and it went like this:
first pass, no burnout on the dr's:
60 ft: 2.297
330 ft: 5.725
1/8th: 8.434
MPH: 91.71
1000: 10.740
1/4: 12.662
MPH: 117.67
Second pass with a burnout:
60 ft: 1.985
330 ft: 5.358
1/8th: 8.068
MPH: 91.52
1000: 10.367
1/4: 12.290
MPH: 117.29
Third and final pass of the day, because I dont need to trailer the car home from a broken 10 bolt:
60 ft: 1.810
330 ft: 5.083
1/8th: 7.765
MPH: 91.98
1000: 10.060
1/4: 11.980
MPH: 117.70

Im confident this size tire can get me 1.7 short times. It held great at the 1.81, didnt spin a hair. I just didnt want to take the car any lower in the 60 ft times because of the 10 bolt.

the BFG's have PLENTY of traction man! I am the one that held it back to the 1.81 60 ft times as I didnt want to go any lower with the stock 10 bolt.

nice mph pick up from 1/8 to 1/4..
my buddy cut a 1.65 60' on his bone stock 88k mile 10 bolt, 6 spd car. he beat on it some more the following month on bfg DRs cutting 1.8-1.7s dropping the clutch. only guy i know that hasn't had a problem - yet.
