If you are nut cutting weight out then it does not matter. Hatches are light as it is, barley 2,000 pounds. I can't see that car being under 2,000 pounds with driver though but 1,800 is doable... I just don't see it in that car, if he got it weighed and people saw it then I would beleive it.
This is why you can take a 400hp car and make it fast.

Say a second per 1,000 pounds.... so weight alone the Honda will run 2.5 or so second quicker and if about 100 hp is worth a tenth then the Caddy has a .2 or so advandage so in theory the Caddy would need to pick up 2.3 seconds to make up for the weight.
