Any LS1 powered F-body will be worth decent money in 20 years provided the world doesn't change drastically. The key is condition! Not many will be around any longer in stock original form. Look what the low horsepower mid to late 1970's Trans Ams are bringing today. Our cars are MUCH better. Ask someone back in 1989 what a late 70's T/A would bring one day and you would be laughed out of town. They would say ZERO! The same holds true for our cars today. Learn from the past. The main thing is still to enjoy it. Daily driving won't keep the car nice but weekend cruising and putting 1,000 - 2,000 miles per year on the car won't hurt it at all. 59,000 or 79,000 miles will not make a difference way down the road as long as it is original and in very good condition. Of course rarer models always do better and convertibles almost always have a higher re-sale as well, but be comfortable with what you have.
