Exactly! Automatic transmissions do very well in collector cars too. Some people just insist that their cars be manuals. No problem as they can find those if they want them. Don't be put off by naysayers. They exist in every automobile forum on the internet and I belong to a few of them. I have no idea why they despise automatics so bad. They are never going to be forced to buy one. I own both types and enjoy them both equally. No need to put them down.
