 427 dilemma - need advice
Hi, I want to buy a 427 block for My 2001 Camaro SS. All I can afford now is just that really. I dont have any money for heads and other stuff but I just wanted to get this block then later upgrade it with the right mods. My questions are:
1) Can I use the ls1 heads, and other supporting accessories, on the 427 block (even though they wont work its best)?
2) Will I be ruining the 427 block by using these?
3) Could I use the same 6 speed T56 stock transmission, stock 10 bolt rear-end for now til I can free up some more cash? If so, how long can these hold up before they break or something goes wrong?
Pls help Me out as I have no idea which direction to take with these. My vision is just to have a badass 427 camaro. Thnx Ben |
