I just got an 04 Z06 CE. Got a good deal on it. But after doing a little research it appears GM changed up the fuel system a bit to be more EPA freindly. Apparently everything, including the fuel filter is located inside the tank and they changed up a few things. This major change is applicable to every Z06 made midway thru the 2003 model year.

Has anyone done any actual testing on the 04 system?

I see Racetronix really doesnt have anything for the 04 except the basic walbro kit. Im wondering if there are any issues with just replacing the walbro such as pickup issues below 1/4 tank?
