What is your engine Temp reading ?... to much advance in the timing or a lean condition in the mixture will also cause excessive heat (I burned up one Cat on my Van running with a lean condition to long). Going the shield route is just a band aid.. you got a problem somewhere else..
Have you tried getting a scanner and see what all of your sensor reading are ? |
