fwiw, mercury marine uses a similar setup on their newer style marine engines, and i have seen them to where if the dist. if off like 1/8" it will make the engine miss and run like crap when you rev it up. easy way to fix it is just rotate the dist slightly both ways to see if the miss goes away. i'm sure it is much easier to do with the tech 2 handset. |
