Default Does it exist 1998 Formula ws6 1le Sport Gold

I have heard there are 12 Sport gold metallic ws6 formulas that exist but are any of them 1le cars?

Considering there were 10 colors in 1998 the odds are MAYBE. The SG appeared on 60 of 2123 Formulas for the odds of 2.8% of Formulas in SG. Now there were 14 1LE packages out of 221 WS6s for that year for the odds of 6.3% of Formula WS6s. 10% of the Formulas that year were WS6s.

2123 x 2.8% (amount of Formulas with SG) x 6.3% (amount of WS6s 1LE) x 10% (amount of Formula WS6s) = for a chance of .37 cars had the SG on it as a 1LE Formula.

Obviously you CANT have .37 of a car but the odds are not in your favor of getting a SG 1LE WS6 Formula.

I used the link to get the numbers. I kind of like doing this.

http://lair.evyl.org/1998-Firebird_P...on_Numbers.htm

Also where did you get that 12 WS6s were SG? I havent seen a color breakdown for the 98 cars. You kind of have to make a percentage like I did up top to get an educated guess. I get 5.8 if you do it by the odds. Obviously they dont go by the odds but who knows.

Ehh its really not that hard. The HARD part is finding the numbers for Firebirds. 98 and 02 are the only years that have any sort of real breakdown so its the only year you can get pretty close to guessing.

Heres a `98 Color breakdown Only changes are that there were actually 2 NBM WS6 Formula's.

And As for the 1LE Formula in Sport Gold. It does exist cause I've seen it.
It was a Sport Gold WS6 Formula Hardtop with No Power options seen it at the `03 Tipp City Cruise which is part of the Trans Am Nationals Weekend.
I didn't see the RPO Door sticker but the only way to get a Formula without PW PL PM and Monsoon was to order a 1LE.

Yea that list has a bunch of holes in it though. It doesnt account for about half the cars that year so its kind of iffy. It doesnt break it down into the 1LE and WS6 colors which is really what we need.

Kind of sucks. Stupid GM!

I have seen this car. It was at the T/A National this year and I saw it at Tipp City cruise and I have a picture of it. Cloth, 6 speed, manual locks and windows. and base radio, hard top etc. Very cool car. Also the owner, a little lady who could barely open the door lives in Kentucky around Louisville

Wow talk about back from the dead.
But yeah that car is sweet and it's still looks all original even down to the Single On the Left Exhaust.

I've been looking for that exhaust for when I decide to go back to all original sometime in the future.

The only thing that doesn't appear to be original on that car is the tail light center piece.
