i'm not going to throw a bs flag, but i would think he's got not-stock tires. just throwing this out there because most people don't replace their tires with what came on them from the factory, and a 1.9x 60' seems pretty quick for a stock convertered, stock tired car. (i'm very strict when it comes to qualifying as "stock" hahah)

if the OP did it though, awesome!

my car when I had just and slp cai kit with stock everything else with 2.73 gears would run consistend 13.2-13.3 and this is going to the track almost everytuesday. Later on in the year(still same setup with street tires, I guess the da was good, track prep was good, car ran a best of 13.08 @ 106mph with a 1.989 60', now this was just that one pass, next week I ran again and was back to 13.2's.. made me feel like something was wrong with the car, but it was just the right conditions for a good pass.

2.42's or 3.42's...... 2.42's are a pretty tall gear and I'm not even sure if they make'em for a 10bolt

Some of the old school cars had 2.55's but they were also big blocks with more tq then hp..

You're nearly 2/10ths and 2-3 mph faster than my bucket ran with a full exhaust and 1.9 60ft. It's got to be the weather or your car's just a straight up freak.

I dunno, I don't think i'll ever buy a stock stalled LS1 vehicle going 12's. I hate to be one to call B.S. but an LS1 A4 is simply not a 12-second car as they sat off the lot. M6 cars have done it but the difference is the ability to launch at a much higher rpm with a stick car. With a factory 1600-1800 rpm torque converter you just don't have that kind of flexibility. I bet the O.P.'s cars got something other than stock on it, rather it be a tune, gears, suspension, something. 12.70's is ridiculous even in insanely low DA. Somethings gotta give.

That is fast for a stock A4 LS1.It has to be a freak if its runnnig 12s stock.. I think my 273 gears is holding me back..My best 60ft has been 1.990 with stock stall/273 gears with street radials.

ive been throught these threads before and im not gonna call bs either. i just dont see how anyone gets these cars in the 12's with everything being bonestock. i mean come on u should need some good tires at least to get a 12 second pass. but anyway congrats on hitting the 12's

i think its def do-able. and i won't hold tires against him. all these new cars are claiming 12s with help from the super sticky street tires the come with from the factory(M3, Z06, camaro SS?) . i say as long as they arent drag radials or something similar i say go for it and let us know what u run. thats still stock imo.
