Now excuse me while I go post the video of the ZR1 ownage on my local forum lol !!!!! |
You contradict yourself....any zr1 does = 1 or greater....You said it only beat one! Well, one is more then any.....and one was all we had. It would obviously have beaten the mothers car too, probably, unless his light was better, but it ran a 13.29 in bristol of all places. So mathmatically that makes two it would beat.....which is way more then ANY.
LOL.....like I d race a zr1 and get a win light with full size van and not take credit? Come on....I built it and I drove it.....part van, and part driver won the race, which I believe is what it takes to win ANY race.
BTW, the 11.25 one....thats fast, and awesome, but just like everyone can say tthe vegas car should be faster....I can say that car would be slower in vegas....His fisrt pass 11.6 then 11.4....so lets say 11.5, that could turn into a 12.5-12.75 in vegas....coupled with even worse traction....gets her right into the low 13's...and what do you know.....
Besides, who says the van cant go faster even ( i ran with a passenger and the bench seats, an spare and stuff, I could probably ditch close to 500 lbs).....It picked up 1.5 seconds in a week with out so much as touching the boost controller.
Obviously the van is not the end all be all of anything...but it is fun as hell, and it did beat one zr1 that new he was racing, that got the opurtunity at a fair start, and had no mechanical issues. Mistakes happen , I limited my mistakes and maximized the vans potential, while the zr1 did not, so it lost.
The problem is the zr1 itself makes it hard to maximize its potential at all...given the brake size and available tires. Just like I cant make the van scale 3000 lbs.
