thats pretty insane. i dont have the patients for that lol. idk cause im no expert but may try adding some more fiberglass around the hinge in the back of it n it might strengthen it. or make a metal bracket to bolt in place behind the fiberglass to have the hood latch. BE CAREFUL WHEN CLOSING THE HOOD CAUSE I HAD A FIBERGLASS SS HOOD AND RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCOOP LINES A CRACKED FORMED UNDERNEATH THE PAINT!!! THE PAINT SHOP WOULDNT EVEN WARRANTY ME AFTER 3 DAYS I PICKED IT UP!!! |
