I would be more worried about the trans strength as I doubt you will brake the transfer case unless your on slicks.
And the S10 would be much lighter than a full size. Just look for a regular S10 4x4. Add a 5.3L (Turbo), 4l80, and NV149 (AWD) transfer case. And enjoy AWD burnouts!
