Getting my project off the ground as we speak.... It started out as a 10 second LT1 355..... Got tired of that and wanted to make in excess of 1200hp and shoot for low 9's to mid 8's.... Decided on a 370" SBC with a big thumper single turbo, dart block, AFR 227's..... That project turned out to be huge on the cash tip seeing as how it was going in a 4th gen and on paper was working out to close to 25-30K (so tack on about 15% for unforseen expenses)..... Called that off due to trying to buy a house instead of messing with cars.......
So now the current project is going the BBC route and either doing an EFI 540 BBC on the bottle and remaining PSCA class legal for three classes or doing an EFI 572 on the bottle.... Wiring is all ripped out of the car and the car is going under the knife to upgrade the cage to 12 point status and rewiring the whole car with a Painless setup. Block is going to be a Dart Big M, Lunati Crank, Oliver rods, JE Pistons..... something relatively streetable but capable of 9 second motor passes and 8 second bottle passes..... I should have pics soon....
