The book I used does have Hugger Orange in the 1970 color list, MadMike's site also lists it for that year, Hot Rod mag has an article about one, and here's a restored RS one. So although I obviously don't have 'first-hand' knowledge on this stuff, it does look like it was offered.

It's on there 12 rows down, 'Hugger Orange CC' instead of 'Hugger Orange' - I left things separated by the different paint-type designations that paintscratch.com had - Iridescent, Poly, Metallic, and Clear Coat.

Many of the ones with different shades in the same row changed color codes for the same name at that point, but sometimes everything else was the same but paintscratch.com had a slightly different shade on their website for it. I don't know which of those are actually real changes to the shade of the color vs which might be a bit of a mistake by them.
