Steven Fereday 8.29 @ 165 This is probably gonna sound really stupid, but never heard of him.
Found this vid over on streetfire. It's a supposed LS1 based turbo Camaro and he apparently drives it on the street, lol (you'll see in the vid).
Very nice vid though......at least I like it...

Know of him met him, wouldnt know him if I saw him. His car is mean looks sick! Drives on the street? I dont know how much now days but when his car was running 9's he would drive it on the street. Wouldnt doubt he still does not one bit. But then again this is people in houston, texas we are talking about too.

wow, that car is serious, look how squirly she gets top end. Crazy man, and street driven? IDK about that, how many cars go around driving with there wheelie bars on? Thats like saying to the cops "Hey, look at me, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pull me over copper!" Anywho, badass ride none the less.

My Buddy knows him...that who the camera man is. i was talking to him on the phone about the street driving he said that its FAR from street legal i think he said the tail lights and head lights dont work and no plates, but they just said what the hell so they could make the video lol. I think he also said it was a 398 LSx motor with some sick *** turbo setup if i am not mistaken. Hes shooting for the 7's

Yea, I've been told that as long as you've got a little flag on the bars they're legal, just like if you were carrying lumber or something in a truck and some was hanging out, so people can see them. And as long as the 'chute doesn't cover your license plate you're ok.
I don't know if he normally drives a low 8sec car on the street (I would imagine it was just for the vid), but we've had a couple high 8/low 9sec cars around here that occassionally drive their cars on the street with 'chutes and bars.

Well thats because he's just a Texas legend . This guys name usually pops up @ True 10.5 races or I've even heard of him even winning some of these LS1Tech events!! Sort of like the Lochness Monster or BigFoot, does this Fereday of Steven really exist?
