PLEASE VOTE IN THE POLL

been looking awhile for a set of street/race wheels (15x3.5 or 15x4 fronts & 15x10 rears) that i can still enjoy on the street i love bogarts but they are out of my price range and the fact they they dont seem to be too street friendly with cracking etc. i also wanted to avoid grinding of my calipers so that eliminated the weld racing prostars and draglites, so now i have come across 2 wheel types and am having a hard time choosing. please vote and let me know what youd think would look best on my black 02 SS. ive attactched 4 pics the first 2 are the Greg Welds and the second 2 are the Billet Specialties. i was leaning to the Greg Welds but now im starting to have second thoughts

thanks, Hunter

at the present time, The rear of the Street lites will work, The fronts won't yet without grinding and a spacer. If you dont mind them Sticking out of the well like about 5/8th right now, you can run the 15x4 without grinding.

I vote wait and see if they make either of these wheels work correctly for our cars first so we can have accurate images to go by.

the greg weld fronts work fine without grinding and they fixed the problem with the 15x8s and now are producing them to fit as they should they are still making the 15x10 to be able to fit without grinding.

the billet specialties the 15x10s fit fine without grinding but they are still working on the fronts.

since these are drag wheels if you go with a 15x8 as opposed to a 15x10 is this a big difference when trying to hook up at the track? seems like two inches is a lot of rubber to lose.

honestly i dont need the 15X10 but the added 2 " definately helps but its close to the same price as the 15x8 i think and it looks alot cooler

there are plenty of people running single digit 1/4 times on a 15x8 wheel

I voted billet specialties. I just received mine from the ups man today (thanks to dragwheelz). They look even better in person I will get some mounted pics up of them on a NBM Camaro in the next couple of days! Wanted a different look over the traditional star type drag wheel!

I can't vote because of my post count....but DEFINATELY Billet Specialties! They aren't making a 15x8 that is direct fit yet so your only choice for the rear is 15x10 if you want it to fit right. Thats what I would do anyway because with a 275/50 or 275/60 that 10" wheel will pull the bead out a little and spread out the contact patch giving you a little more rubber on the track.

I like both but GW welds are half the price of BS wheel. BS raised the price a good bit due too us owning a f-body

Uhm no, Not true and please do not start rumors. It was explained that this is a totally diffrent wheel, and redesigned to fit and work on a f body.

Its no rumor. If I order Billet Specialties for my 72 Camaro, I pay 229.99 each, if I want to order them for my LS1 car I pay what 349.99? Totally diff wheel or not, they look the same, yet are two diff prices weather you have a LS1 car or a normal car.

I like my 100.00 dollar Greg Welds.
