I visited APE on 04-29-2005 and saw my engine sitting on the floor along the wall. My Yella Terra rockers were in a plastic container on a shelf. I was told they were running 4-6 weeks behind. My $8000.00 engine is paid for and sitting behind closed doors. I would like to pick up my engine and take it home. As of 05-19-2005: I have been in contact with Nick and he is trying to locate and pick up my engine. As of 06-01-2005: Nick has removed my engine from Chris's building and has it at his shop. I also sent at least 50 pages of documentation to my credit card company, hoping for some kind of refund even though I am way over 60 days. As of 07-18-2005: The credit card company credited all of my money back, which was amazing because my first charge for the down payment was over a year ago. I want to thank LS1Tech for all of the documention, because without that I may have been totally screwed. If you have paid APE with a credit card, dispute it no matter how old it is. Car was dropped off last fall and was suposed to be delivered this spring in April. I was told May 2 that nothing was done after the motor was pulled last November and hidden in a corner. I was lied to about the status of the job on every visit to the shop. The car was removed from APE on 05-09-2005 with a flatbed, and in the back of my truck. I recieved a few of the parts I paid for, about $2500 worth. The bank won't charge back my deposit from 11-18-2004 taken from my debit card. I'm out all of it. As of 05-22-2005: I filled out a report here with the Clinton twp. PD and was told it was a civil matter. After I showed them the master list from here it really got thier attention, and a detective asked me a lot of questions. The prosecutor is supposed to be contacting me, but hasn't yet. Cost to me for that leg of S&H will be $296. It's getting paid to FedEx when I pick up the engine. Engine is being dropped off at my residence door via FedEx and cost has been taken care of.
