Yeah, I stood the rad up and redirected the air so it flows straight into, instead of under. plus it makes sense like you said for turbo. wnet with no grill and I think since the intercooler is black it looks alright.

thank you sir. it is fun to drive, easy on fuel too. its stiff, no radio heat or A/C solid motor mounts it aint luxury, but simple and dependable. does my DD duty quite well.

I just couldn't wait anymore, someone had to do it! yes the 10-bolt is still in there. 2.73 gears keep it happy, factory locker axle outta 2001 transam. UMI full rear suspension. if it blows, i'll but another cheap 10-bolt from Cleveland Pick-a-Part who is a sponsor here and has been great to me.

now tell me..you going to run a bullydog kit? thatd be fgn awesome!!! need pics of the undercarriage as well!
lookin at Propane injection, but gonna keep pushin the RPM and PSI until i run out of fuel only. pics of undercarriage will be up soon.

yeah those little buggers mess around with me sometimes. i've had a few tell me all that smoke my engine is gonna blow. I tell them I can't seem to find the right spark plugs for it. then they go on to tell me about there bicycle engines.

I gotta get some pics of the hood on my car. to someone who mentioned harwood. Yes, it does have a Harwood wide 2.5" cowl hood on it currently. For awhile now it's still has the gel-coat from factory. too cheap to get it painted lol

Said it before...sayin it again. I LOVE that thing! Ide say the 93-97 Camaros are my least favorite body style for an f-body...but that combo you have is really attractive. Not to mention the innovation factor with the motor.

How does it handle vs. the stock set up? I dont know how much heavier the diesel is than a SBC...

Great work and, like everyone else, I want more vids!!!

That thing looks crazy, is crazy, and i love it. The car looks spot on. I wouldnt change a thing. Thats the best of both worlds, an fbody and a diesel. Im glad you put a 6.5 in it and not a dmax

Thanks J!! It handles well. It still has the V6 swaybars all around. 245 front tires/275 rear. Poly bushings in the front control arms, sways. Rear suspension has heim joint/poly. All UMI rear setup. Stock springs, decarbons.
The engine weighs much more than the 3.4L that came with it. Like 300 lb. But some weight reduction cured some of the weight issue.

Track times coming THIS Friday.
Dyno soon after. Engine build in progress. Try to get a vids of track run, just been Very busy.

Thank you sir! Yes the 6.5L suits me quite well. it's a great engine, and is trusted everyday by our troops overseas.

Dude, your car deserves to be in GM mag like super chevy. You talk to Tony about your car when you get the dyno numbers and track times.

hlaalu, fortunately for you this truck is at the same height as yours and doesn't smoke black much.
Yeah, it's for sure different. I would love to find a CME valence and route it accordingly.

Hot Rod Magazine would be all over this!!! Not too long ago they had a Supra-powered first gen Camaro. They are all about anyone who dares to be different. My props to you for breaking the mold and building something truly cool!

never ending up making it to the track. It isn't shifting at WOT (trans internal issue), it's slipping, and I broke a wheel stud pretty much ending my chances of a decent run. ohh well, it is the first issue I've had since completion. trans will be rebuilt when funds allow.

Anyone with experience with TCI's Trans Controller?
any vendors here sell rebuild kits for the 80e?
already have the Transgo Hd2, any other recommended trans upgrades while I'm in there?

What's the redline on that engine? What made you put a diesel in it instead of an ls1? Do you have a build thread? I bet you get some crazy looks at the gas station. Thats a great looking car too and congrats on being different.
