Ok, so I actually did this earlier.
I dremeled them out then rasped them smooth.
I don't really feel like repainting them for awhile so i was REALLY careful about it.
Of course i got some minor scratches, but oh well.
I normally run about 210-240 even in cool weather. But tonight it never went past 185-190.
So this is a definite improvement. And the heat actually escapes too. =]
I'll post some pics of mine in the morning when i'm not tired as hell. haha

my hood works the same way. rain is no big deal, just fyi. trucks like mine with stock hoods have the fan wide open in the summer but mine hardly ever goes past idle. on top of that, my hood is usually lukewarm to the touch at best. great job man, looks good

well i got alot of time on my hand to write something up. it shouldnt be to hard to do it. i mean damn a pair of pliers rotozip and sandpaper and thatll pretty much do it for ya.
