Here are some pictures of the Jegs roll cage I installed. Take a gander. I think i'm the only one with pics up. Lemme know what you all think.

Looks good, but I only see 6 points I see the two for the main hoop, the 2 door bars, and the two that go down in the back. What am I missing?

Oops. Forgot to mention I didn't put the two that go down to the tunnel in. Didn't seem like a real important thing for a street car.

its a very important piece.
it stabilizes the main hoop in the event of a side rollover.

why the padding on the back down bars?
looks like you did a good job. door panels fit, dont see them installed in the pics.

Well I do not understand the point of putting the cage in and have it be a glorified 4 pt bar, At least put the 2 in the rear hatch and that should qualify for 6pt which allows for a fast ET at the track.

in my opinion of course.

Do you have to drop the tank if you're going to weld it in?

I never did on my 3rd gen when I did the roll cage. I just welded an inch or two and then had some one put water on it to cool the weld and then just kept going around until I was done.

Nope didn't have to drop the tank. It took about 8-10 hrs to get everything measured, fitted, cut, welded, cleaned up and painted, spread out over about a week and half. I'm an amatuer welder so I took a lot longer to make sure the welds were good. Could take an expirienced person a lot less time. And price was like he said 275 shipped, got here two days later. Used VHT Epoxy Paint if anyone wants to know, got it from the local advance auto parts(were I work).

curious about the door panels as well i was under the impression that you needed to get the door bars bent to get the panels to fit??
