So its a nice day out today in texas so I figured I'd choose this day to detail. I also had some water spots from letting my car air dry after rinsing some dirt off of it so I figured I'd pull my porter cable out and clean it up. I know this site loves to look at threads with pics so here you go.
These are just some before shots (If you look in some pics i have my dads car and my brothers car in the background)
Trying to be creative:
During the detail. First off I'd like to say that Steve at tropicare is a great guy. I buy my products from him solely because he is there to help and answer questions without being annoyed. I ordered some new stuff to resupply stuff I ran out on and 20 minutes after my order there was a tracking number sent to me, and the products arrived to me the next day.
For this detail I used the orange pad along with Swirl Cutter. And prior to using this I wiped down my car with a 50/50 mix of water and alcohol to clean off the surface:
And here are a few pics of the water spots on the car:
After swirl cutter and orange pad on the spoiler:
And a few extras:
Some other pics of our cars from a few months ago.
What size wheels you running? I normally hate chrome (period) but your car pulls the look off well.
