I was wondering where to get some sort of HID's for the trans am, i have the 2000, and its a one piece headlights, so the bulbs can not be replaced.
in this video,
my local high end car accessory store modifies regular bulbs (sealed ones) to accept HIDs. its easy, just carefully pry the bulb out and epoxy the new hid bulbs in. let it set for a few hours and then re-install.

Anyways man you need a sealed beam conversion http://eurolamps.com/eurolamps/sealedbeams.htm , after that you should be able to plug and play any HID kit. However, I bought mine from HidKing on ebaymotors.com and have had 0 problems whats so ever.

Thanks.
OP you are gonna need to go to eurolamps like stated ^ and get the sealed beam conversion kit then you just go from there with your hid kit.
Hmmm sounds like a good idea I might have to try it but I really don't drive that much at night.....

I just a few months ago picked up the sealed beam conversion from eurolamps. I don't have HIDs in them but the bulbs included look great. The lamp housings are good quality. That is what I was concerned with most. Not saying to not do the HID conversion I just haven't gotten there yet. Spent the $ on some UMI stuff instead.
I have the HIDs in eurolamp housings. There's a lot of people that say that you shouldn't do this, it blinds people....blah blah. But I adjusted mine fairly low, I have great visibility and no other cars/cops have hassled me with them

Be careful because I am pretty sure HID bulbs are not a big fan of the vibration caused by the movement of the headlights (when you open and close them).

yea I am curious about when the bulb goes or if I want to change it out for something brighter or not. So with the EuroHID does anyone have any pictures of the full kit so we can have a true idea of what is involved because all I ever see is a box with wires and bulbs with wires.
