Cool emblempros.com brings another product to the table - lighted door sills

Okay, we have been secretly working on this for a little bit, and have a working prototype to show our customers and forum members. Two videos were also taken in a garage with the lights both on and off. We will also be developling these for F-bodies really, really soon.

Here are some pics with the vidoes embedded below:

Right now it is on a switch, but these can be wired into your car's 12V system. Pricing will be determined soon, but there is a hell of a lot of work and materials that go into these. It won't be outrageously high, but in the $200 range for sure.

Not unless you want to. You can run the wiring into and under your seal and into the kick panel for a clean install with no cutting involved.

i may invest in a set of these and have em wired up to come on when you open the door so like you open the driver door thats the only one that comes one until you open that passenger door. think that would be sweet

You guys plan on doing different colors or what? I'd be interested if they came in red for sure.

That's pretty cool. I was just thinking of ways to use EL panels on my car the other day and this is a perfect application of the technology. I was kind of expecting puddle lighting from the title which would also be nice. Since these draw fairly low power you could probably wire it into the same circuit as the overhead lighting or map lighting if you wanted OEM-like function.

I would want to have mine work based on comming on when the door or side they are assoiciated with are opended. These do not glare light out at you do they?
