Yeah my 96 TA was wrecked in the front end. The guy just bought new fenders, hood, and front clip and headlights. He just threw it back together and spray painted it. Looks crappy. So I bought a 2002 front clip, fenders, bumper support, fog lights; and I still need a Ram Air Hood. I`m going to put 93-97 camaro headlights on it with clear headlight covers. I`ve seen kits like this but they`re freakin` expensive.
I wonder if I need a header panel?

The converson sounds really cool for those of you that want to tackle it,But i noticed none of you guys are adding up one of the biggest cost.PAINT Its gonna cost over $1,500 to have the entire frnt clip re-painted.unless your planing on doing it your self??
hey, yea it was sweet ot give a new look to my old z in my case i switched out a 94z front clip to a 02 model and i was planning to get the whole car repainted anyways hell im even redoing the whole inside too..though i dont know what color i want it to be yet arghhhhhhhh!! so many sweet colors out there hard to choose

I started this conversion last night. Making my 1995 Formula a '98 up T/A. I bought a complete '01 T/A minus motor/tranny for $900. Should have everything I need to convert 100% of the exterior, lighted HVAC controls and brakes.

I was planning on getting my entire car painted anyway, and since the bumper is a little warped why not do the conversionw hile I'm at it?

i want my 94 6 banger to look like the 98 + models is the TA bodys different or can i do a front end conversion just the same? email me clownin419@yahoo.com
im looking into doing it too. Here's an idea. wait until your car needs painted anyways, or buy a front clip that is the same color as your car!! there's a good idea. if i do it, i'm going to do the conversion right when i paint the car. because i want to custom paint it a sexy orange color.
and what's this camaro light conversion for the TA i saw previously?
i doubt a 96 T/A for only 2,300 is worth a damn either..........
I don't understand people with these conversions. Save your pennies and get a low mileage 98+ LS1, you'll be happy you did.
I have a 96 formula. only paid $2500 for it. low miles bbk headers and custom exuast. the seller had a lot of cars and money, someone broke into the formula and stolen hissubwoofers. He lost interest and got rid of the formula for cheap.
I've got the 98+ Oem Bumper Cover, OEM Ram Air hod (damaged, but fixable)both 98+ Oem Fenders, and the 98+ drivers headlight assembly complete with motor....Almost everything you'll need to convert your LT1 into an LS1....$450 firm, need it gone by the weekend....Located in So. Cal.
I have been looking everywhere trying to figure out about the conversion and this site is pretty much all i could find. I also am trying to convert my front end. I have just bought a 93 TA off my cousin for seriously dirt cheap engine runs great except he hit a semi lol. The front clip and side fenders were only thing damaged. So i want to convert it to the 4th gen since i have to replace the front anyway. I was wondering if some could tell me all what parts i need to do this. IS everything going to be bolt on or is there going to be welding needed.
i used to want to convert my 97, but it would be a big waste of effort, because when youre done its still a 97 and its still and LT1. i traded my LT1 97 in on my 01 WS6... best decision in my life, besides accepting jesus
