I wouldn't put a body kit on a TA, already looks hella beefy. Just needs clear side markers and that's it!!!!!!

I agree birds are a little more "flashy" from the factory, don't really NEED a kit. Still look good with it tho......

As far as body kits go, i really don't think they are needed. They do make the car stand out, but as stated by a few others i would rather lower the car 1.5"-1.8" and that's enough. The black ta with the ww kit imho would look better without it. Thats why cars are great, you can make it how you want it!

Body kits look much better on Camaros than T/As.

Camaros or T/As, I'd rather lower it than putting a body kit on, that would also give a badass look and a better handling over stock, 2 for 1!

D_run, you car looks perfect to me! The torq thrusts, the color, the WW kit. Beautiful. If it was my car the only thing I would change from it would be the pontiac badge up front.

Ok honestly, saying G/E is rice is like saying a civic is a muscle car, it's a retarded statement.

Yeah some G/E can look retarded if overdone, but most of the T/A and camaro G/E's (all the standards, WW, xenon, viz) aren't so overdone they could be classified as rice. Personally I think xenon ground effects belong on a camaro, I'll be buying some soon and having them molded to look like one piece, sick.

Lowered cars look like @ss imo... why because I hit the damn lip when it is at factory height.....

I prefer big @ss tires over lowering.

That and the WW for the T/A looks damn good. It helps make up for the 3 feet of overhang on the front bumper. Which looks REALLY bad when you stop to honestly look at it.

Not to mention with a kit instead of lowering you can run FLP long-tube headers (not SLP).

Has anyone with a lowered f-body driven in San Antonio before, or is living in Austin?

I tears the living crap out of the vehicle. A body kits front bumper must constently get replaced. I would prefer replacing lip over the entire front bumper being repainted (which I had to do).

If you know how to drive (taking steep inclines at an angle) you will never have a problem with a lowered car.

I had a 97 TA with sportlines never scraped the nose. It's all in the driver!!

I was referring to the 2 inch+ lowering not the moderate ones.

Nah, it is all in the current construction in your city/campus. I had to start taking a different road because of the dip where they cut it. If you REALLY feel like taking a road at an angle at ~30 mph with thin lanes oncoming on one side and outgoing on the other you can try. I luckily didn't get nailed there I was nailed with a pothole that was like the grand canyon in the road. Again with the not really being able to take it at an angle due to the risk of running other cars off the road.

Regardless I am just stating observations on people with kits and lowered cars that the damn things always have chopped noses. Especially the kits with the concrete curbs/parking stops. Only the 1 inch lowered ones seem to survive out here.

funny thread "rice" huh. If you stop to think about what ever you do to a car that isn't performance minded is considered "rice." get with the freaking program people if you got beef with what people do to their car then just say that isn't for me but to say that it is "rice" (especially something like the WW kit) then you need you phucken head examined. Before you say anything and I mean anything is rice just go to one of their sites and stop and think is this as bad as that. the answer will come out no so therefore it isn't. the fart can and the rear spoiler on a fwd car is too much. but a f-bod with lights or whatever to set it apart from the rest isn't. just remember rice can be classified as narrowminded people that only like their car and bash the rest.
