They're for sale with highbeams that aren't properly aimed? You never answered my question at the beginning of your thread.

Good to hear you sold them! I look forward to seeing pics of your newer lights.

This all has inspired me to start my own retrofit project. I've already ordered TSX projectors, and now I need to find some reasonably priced headlamps.

Could someone tell me where the best place to get good projectors from? I hope there is someplace that sells them besides an Acura dealer...

I would also be very interested if anyone knows about headlight replacements for the Firebird.

You can land some good TSX projectors for around $150-$200

e-bay is the main place I'd look. hidtech.com also sells a few different types of projectors. Ask them about the TSX style.
Here is a list of projectors as well as pics of the 03+ TSX unit.

What kind of question do you have about the firebird lights?

The question is if anyone already offers a decent Firebird headlight replacement kit.
Unless it is pitch black, I usually drive with the park and fog lights on, just because I think it looks better than the stock halogen headlamps. I don't really like some non-flip up lights that I believe came on a certain year of the Firehawk, and I saw another pic of some aftermarket non-flip-up lights, but didn't like the look.
I like the new C6 lights, and might be interested if someone offered a similar kit for the Firebird. But really I'd just like a good looking, brighter set of fold-down/flip-up headlights... so I wouldn't be ashamed (and blind) to drive around at night.

I'm interested in making my own set of projector-style headlamps (hence the above question), but it's a fairly low priority, and I would be more likely to just pay for it if I could find something I liked.

...I'm pretty new to this topic and haven't really done any research yet, so excuse my ignorance if I'm missing something that is obvious.

Matt, I posted a whole bunch of stuff here, but decided to start a whole new thread instead. Just go here:

It's been a while since I've messed with the lights so this was a nice way to refresh my memory.

Default e46

for the record i have e46's fit fine, and they sit slightly farther back in the headlight. There is one downside you need to remove about a 1"x1" square of metal from behind the headlight for the ballast to connect to the bulb.

Do you mean if it is to fit in the stock low beam location? Did you move it all the way forward until it almost hits the bumper cover when going up and down?

I could use some info as I'm about to do this myself.

You said you are using TSX Projectors?

Where did you get the cool "cover/housing" the makes everything look nice?

Do you have any pictures of how you mounted yours?
