Default PIAA's Installed.

The lights are PIAA 1100 x Platinum Lamps. They are bright enough for me to drive w/o my low beams, just my parks, and halos on. I think I like that look. Thoughts?

i drive like that alot, usually until i get on some back country road or its really dark out. halos and fog lights together are the perfect combo.

I have had those for almost 2 years. Maybe it's been more not sure. On coming traffic will always flash their brights. Looks badass with halos and fogs only

How did you end up mounting yours, and have they melted or warped your car at all? Will post daytime pics tonight...

I think I did a little shaving of the bracket. Don't remember to be honest. Never melted or warped any plastic/paint and are really close to bumper. Going on strong!

To answer your question, I disabled the DRL's. I hated that I couldn't turn off my lights at night. No override button either. So, I disabled DRL's altogether.

its really not that bad.. if you look to the left or right of the pic, you can see on the gaurdrail of the bridge the cutoff line. above that line, when you look at the lights, you see them lit but they arent bright at all.

The PIAAs you installed, are they bulbs, or are they replacement foglamps with their own bulbs?

PIAA's are a whole new fog assembly, with different bulbs. he MAY have even gone farther and gotten a different bulb.

The lights can be found here:
http://piaa.com/Lamps/Lamp-pages/1100x.html

I didn't have any fogs in my car beforehand, and I didn't feel like making brackets, so I drilled a hole in the top of the opening where the fogs go, and put the bolt from the lamp through and tightened the hell out of it. They fit tightly, but I'm happy w/the results. I still have to get daytime pics, but it's been real shitty weather here. I'll see about posting some up soon.
