I don't think they will, most LEDs can handle 500deg F for ~5 seconds with no damage, so 200 deg F is childs play.

Hey evilbadz, just wanted to let you know ours were wired a little differently than what is on your how-to.

Ours had two resistors on the positive wire inline(about 1.75 volts after both resistors). Those wires then went straigt to the LEDs which had the positive tied in to the positive of both LEDs and the negative tied directly to the negative of both LED's


Let me know if that is confusing and I'll take some pictures for you.

Hrm that is weird, they wired them in parallel instead of series. You should still be able to do it the way I showed in the writeup, although if I can I'll add your information to the writeup!

I used this write up and switched my halos to red, and painted the chrome black while I had them apart. The write up was an awesome guide! I used 25,000mcd red LED's for mine.







The pics are dark because I took them in the garage with low light to show the halos. Sorry.
