i bought some new h4 light for my firebird they i cant put them in

ok i just bought some new 8500k head kight 4 my 2001 firebird and when i went 2 go change them it was diffent cuz the bulbs do not twist off like every other car and it was just a hole head light and i was like wtf? so if any one know if there are any kits out there for my bird so i can put my new bulbs in get back at me thank u

shoulda done more reasearch before u made a purchase like that. Look into eurolights. Think they're the ones with the sealed beam housing with the opened backs. Not sure if h4's will fit in them though.

i have the eurolights and no, they use h7's

if your lights are stock they use a sealed beam. i dont know who would have told you to get h4's. eurolights uses h7's. i think the cheap matrix racing lights use h4's thou...i dont know thou b/c all i know are stock and eurolights....

There has been some talk on here about conversion units that use a H4 bulb for the early 4th-gen Firebird and there are sometimes units on ebay. Also Rally Lights does make a conversion unit.

They are not cheap though.

The Euro Lamps units are $156+ plus shipping for a pair and I dont like the blue tinted bulbs. The Hella units (from Rally Lights) are $203 plus shipping for a pair.

The HID kit from www.ledgauges is only $47 more than the Hella housings. If Im going to spend ~$200 on a non-HID headlight upgrade, I'm getting projectors.
