Maybe my passenger window will finally close all of the way. Sometimes it gets kind of wet for the passenger.

I agree that your 'before' was indeed, not so bad, but our kit showing an improvment over that is even better!! Thanks a bunch for making a before and after video
I've been considering this kit but all of these vids have me worried cuz mines a lot worse. Mine will go down just fine but when going up it'll stop dead in its tracks and I have to wait a while before pushing the button again, only to have it go up another inch or so. Then i have to repeat that over and over till its shut. Is the autotrix fix for me? or do i need a new window motor?
It is really hard to say it will definatly fix your problem, yet I can say that is HAS in fact been proven to fix that perticular problem on many occasions. The 98 model on our website vid, HAD this problem and it is still working great. (original motor @ 180k miles)
Our kit is worth the shot and if it doesnt work at least your next motor will last longer and work more efficently.
damn that really got up there. i need to order me one soon

I had the same problem but when I installed the Autotrix window fix I also put in a new window motor. It takes another 45 minutes max and it will work better than it did when it was new.

Install wasn't that bad. The hardest part was fishing the power and ground into the door. A metal hanger makes it real easy though. I already have a wire running into my firewall for my system, so that part was really easy too. The instructions are really good, but I didn't exactly follow them. My power comes thru a dfferent spot so less wire in engine bay and is hidden in wire loom. My ground is in a much better spot that takes advantage of a factory ground behind the kickpanel that has to be taken out for the install. Its plain as day and is just perfect! I soddered and shrink wrapped most all of my wires too. Oh yea, it took about an hour from start to finish. I'm really fast and know every inch of my car though. I'd say it'll take 2 hours for sure if your not that great with cars.
Yeah, there must be some degree of electrical knowledge before attempting any of our installs, yet we try to make our instructions so easy that anyone can do it!!
