Default 350 miles after the install my Cartek clutch is doing GREAT!

I babied it for 350 miles, then let it rip! Still Zero chatter. Shifts butter smooth at 6400 rpm and goes into reverse better than the stock clutch! This clutch grabs HARD. Cartrek PP + Cartek disk + GM slave + GM flywheel + Mcleod Adjustable Master with 3/32 drill mod = A great clutch. I hope it stays this way. Thanks for the advice NineBall.

I agree, I've had mine about 4,000 miles now and this weekend it handled 12 passes, about half of them on spray and ET Streets!

I only put about 150 miles, or about what it took to get from my house to E-town for break in lol It grabs awesome though, with the stock cluth, it'd chirp 1-2 shift, now it breaks loose.

With all of the posted failures with the Star, there's no comparison. Cartek is much, much better.

I broke my Cartek in at the track! 1.58 and 1.60 short times, wheels in the air. The newer version of the disk is nice, no chatter at all!

Now, I just need to do some suspension work to get me into the 1.4X range. I'm at the limits of stock suspension I believe. Just LCAs for now!

This is good news to hear about the Cartek clutch. I bought the entire setup a few weeks ago and I am hoping to get it installed within the next couple of weeks. How would I know if I have the newer version of the disk? Is there a visual difference or would I have to call Cartek up and ask them? Thanks.
