Default Ok I need M6 help asap

My trani has been fugging up lately; and when I got to work today the trani locked in 4th gear. Now when I try to get the trani to go in any other gear it is locked out. Only have 4th and neutral. Is it the cags? Can I simply unplug it and drive to the hearest dealer?

Sounds like a much bigger problem than CAGS. Try taking it off, but I doubt it's going to do you any good. Unless you plugged it into something else.

Sounds like you may have a bent tranny fork, or something has came apart and blocking the gear gates. That is definately something you'd take back to the dealer. If your car has any mods, take them off before going. Good luck

Wasn't there a TSB for the T56 tran. for 3rd gear poping out? I think it was for 99-00 cars but its worth a try..

But it sounds like warranty time <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0">

Exactly how mine did when my 3rd gear syncro grenaded for the 4th time <img src="images/icons/frown.gif" border="0">
Scattered trash all through the M6 and locked down completely before I could get it over to the dealer.
Drill Mod must be the thing to cure this 3rd gear smasher ???
