| Re: Pro 5.0 Shifter is the ****! Thats cool that you like yours, I can't decide if I want a 5.0 or a Ripper. Would you say that the 5.0 is shorter than the Ripper? The Ripper is too long for me.

| Re: Pro 5.0 Shifter is the ****! All I can say is that its perfect...and if you want to cut it down to where you want it you can...there is plenty of thread to cut...usually people cut about 1" off...I think thats too short...I like it the way it is...

| Re: Pro 5.0 Shifter is the ****! Man, I feel like an LS1 Grandpa or something, I was the first one on LS1.com to cut their Pro5.0 shifter LOL!
Yep, this shifter is awesome. Its the ONLY one you can cut to shorten. I have mine cut 0.75" and love it.

| Re: Pro 5.0 Shifter is the ****! I cut about 7 threads off of mine and its awesome. I love it, I felt of a ripper when I was at the track last week and it felt pretty good ,but I've heard of a lot of people having problems with the ripper hitting the console in reverse. Either way the factory shifter is a POS.

| Re: Pro 5.0 Shifter is the ****! Yep. Great shifter.
I added a Lou's short stick for a while, but I actually felt it was too short.
Now I'm running the pro5 stick with a nineball chop mod. I probably cut 1" off. |
