I gotta agree with Vince and Frank, 80E swap it now. Its a little more cost but you wont be doing it twice.

My 60E has shown zero signs of letting me down at those power levels but im gonna guess you have close to 1000lbs on my setup.

While my FLT Lv5 is incredibly awesome, propelling my 5200lb 4x4 to 11.67@114.47 in the 1/4 mile, I'd feel even more comfortable if I had done a 80e swap a while ago.

I voted for the Performabuilt unit, Frank is great to deal with and his transmissions are awesome. I am currently running a Lvl 2 and couldn't be happier.

Default Performabuilt

Performabuilt built a tranny for my gto that I ran a 10.92 at 125 mph. I think Franks work is awesome. Been in there for over 6 months with several track visits and feels really solid still.

Cannot speak for your truck... However, i am running an RPM Level4 with NO problems, approx. 10K on it so far. Just changed the tranny/filter last week and the fluid is still blood red. One of the best investments i have made on this car.. Rodney is a great guy to deal with.

We do not list hp rating due to the amount of different vehicles these transmissions fit. Plus I feel that hp ratings are just what they are. Ratings! I feel that many companies use this a sales pitch and most over rate them to get your order. Lets say our level 4 is good to 600fwhp in a 3800lb car. In a 6000lb truck that rating would not be the same due to the weight. Make sense? We have customers in the 750-800rwhp in Fbodies and vets in that range however these units have billet output shafts in them and a couple even have some of our billet input shafts in them. We are currently working on a new unit to surpass the the level 5. In my opinion this will be the strongest trans on the market however these things take time to do the R&D on and currently we are almost there. There are a couple other things I am still working on for this unit. I believe this unit might be available very soon as I have built a couple already for select customers. Also at 800rwhp you need to be smart with these transmissions. Manual downshifts, 4-2 kick down shifts and other forms of abuse on a 4l60e will not last forever. It is not a matter of if it will break, it is more a matter of when. Feel free to give us a call to discuss your combination. Vince

We list HP rating simply as a general guide so you have some idea of what your looking for, However in every case it is discussed at the time of the order, We feel without these ratings many people would be blind going in.
These are just general ratings to give and idea of what your looking at cost wise which will be discussed and determined if what you picked is what you need at the time of the order.
Just FYI
