Converter valve in valvebody

Having my 4L60E rebuilt and was wondering if the bore where the converter valve is in needs to be reamed out and go to an oversized valve or use the new valve that is supplied in the transgo shiftkit? I have my builder saying the one supplied in the shiftkit is better and will be fine but have another guy saying it needs to be reamed out and go with an oversized valve. Any ideas?

the valve that comes in the transgo kit will convert your pwm tcc to a standard on/off tcc and should work fine

as stated the one in the transgo kit should work fine

ok thanks for the input. Dont the bores generally wear out alot though?

There are different views on this but the transgo kit pretty much eliminates the function of that valve and the bore.
