I would need to know a bit more about the car and also what you use it for. A level 4 or 5 would probably be my recommendation. Feel free to give us a call to discuss your options. Vince B

Hey FLT guys, couple of questions. (I'd like to call, but that's sometimes problematic on a deployment.)

1) If I want to switch from T56 to an auto, would you guys be able to do a core swap? (My T56 for an auto.) Or would it be best to find an auto best for my application, then send it to you?

2) What do you guys recommend for a built motor on nitrous (not too sure of size of motor, pretty intermediate shot of juice) 9" w/ 4.11s, street and strip setup?

We would be interested in your core not a problem. I would like to know more about the motor and how big an intermediate shot is. Feel free to pm Andy @ FLT or email me... andy@finishlinetrans.com.

Recommendation for 02 ws6 full weight, stock rear, 342s, big cam, 150-200 shot? Made 505hp on a 125 shot corrected. Actual only 407hp at 5500'. Mostly only hit it with a 150 shot but possible 200 in the far future?

I would recommend a Level 5 and if you plan on running slicks I would strongly consider a billet output shaft. If you have any questions feel free to give me a call.
Thanks!

I'm quite interested in your current promotion, however I do have a question or two. I currently have a KIA 4l60e and plan to budget for atleast a level 3 transmission from your company. Now my long term goal for the car (02 Z28, full weight, 3300 TCI stall, N/A for now) is to have around 550 rwhp on motor. The car will see a dragstrip sometimes, but will be primarily a street car. I'll bolt some slicks to it to get a good ET, but 99% of the time it will be on street tires. I have no plans to for nitrous, it seems like cheating to me. I want to rebuild my tranny once, and I dont care how much it costs the first time as long as it does not cost me anymore down the road. Part of the requirements is that the car has to retain good driving manners.

Now that theres a little background, will the car require tuning when I swap out my clapped out 4l60e for a rebuilt one? Before my tranny committed suicide I noticed that the converter would "stumble" when it was trying to lock up, as well as when it would try to disengage. Is this a tuning issue or a converter issue? Lastly, I've read much about forgetting the 4l60e all together and going for a 4l80e. Would you still honor the core trade in for my 4l60e if I chose to do so? and how much would be involved in switching these transmissions?

I thank you for your time and I eagerly await your reply. Perhaps we can do some business in the immediate future.

I'm probably blind, but how long is this deal running? I really want a level 3 but I am closing on my first house at the end of the month and won't run in to any money until then...

Just wanted to say thanks guys! I really appreciate all the extra effort you all put in for getting my transmission out right away so I could make the car cruise up here. I got it in and it shifts like a dream.

Thanks Andy for getting everything rolling on such short notice!
