Basically I am in pickle right now. I really dont know where to go to school. I am originally from Michigan, so if I could find a place out there that would be best. So here's what I am looking for in a school
Automotive (both gas and diesel tech)
Transmission (well driveline)
Paint and Body
Fabrication
Welding
Interior customization
Thats what I am looking for in a school. Thanks for your input guys

I was in the same situation. I lived in troy, michigan but then moved out to arizona. Right out of high school I attended GM ASEP which was the best choice ive made. I am currently finishing up my 3rd semester, one more to go and i will be GM certified. Then after these semesters, im moving to flint, michigan for Kettering university (formerly known as GMI) for the Automotive mechanical engineering...
If you're want to do any high performance engine work, look into the School of Automotive Machinists (www.samracing.com). We specialize in building race engines. Our graduates leave here and go to work for some of the top names in the motorsports industry. Let me know if you have any questions.

Not trying to be an ass. I just thought that was a pretty funny title.
So my english isa no good...lol. Would "where to attend an educational facility of higher learning" been more appropriate?
Thanks for all of the input fellas. I do really appreciate it.
Didnt really like the guy that was advertising the school that he worked for on this thread, but oh well. I'll check it out anyway.
If anyone else has more inputs, please let me know.

I'm actually a graduate of the program, so I know exactly what we do and teach. I'm not trying to sell you on something you're not into. This type of job isn't for everyone. I was just trying to give you some options of other things to look into.
Didnt mean to insult, but the way that I took it was like a spammer coming on a thread. Like if the University of Phoenix came on this thread and advertised. We all know that college is garbage, b/c they accept everyone. Like I said, I will look into your school, and I apologize if I was rather rude.

How much do these schools cost to attend? Also how do you qualify to get in?
Wyotech ran $25K per 9 month program. To qualify, it seems that all that you have to do is apply and have the ability to pay them.
