Default employer question

I had a question because i been applying for a tech postion at some shops and wanted to know how they react to on the apps when it ask about driving recored and how they treat it? when i had a speeding violation back in 2006, i think it was like 3 points. and havent had another violation since 2006. How does every one feel as they treat that for that type of job like is it really bad to have that or are they mostly looking for alot of violations or dui?

The couple of shops I've worked at just required that you had a license. As long as it didn't get revoked or suspended they never seemed to care.

I wouldnt sweat it. You might get questioned about it at an interview but just be honest about it and you will be ok.. Also good thing to put on the application if you already dont have them is that you will be going to get your emission and saftety inspection liscence. Always makes an app look good.
