reinforce stock tranny mount quick and easy
and FREE if you are all ready doing home made motor mounts.
i made the motor mount for my passenger side yesterday and had enough urethane left over to fill in the void on my stock trans mount. just tape up the backside and fill to the front!
i used shore 80a devcon 2 part liquid rubber (again) from grainger.
so for 40 bux you get a motor mount AND a trans mount.. yaay.
motor mount in the mold (3" exaust pipe greased up)
trans mount just after filling (sorry no before pic but it is empty in there)
finished mounts

I've been putting some thought into doing this because I'm not happy with the UUC Transmission mount. The center bolt spins and I can't get it completely snug.
What if you removed the stock rubber, and filled the whole thing with the same compound?
It's nice that it has that "safety" bolt between the top/bottom.

as far as your uuc mount, just put a tiny weld tack or even maybe some J.B. weld were to bolt goes through...
No biggie
