I dont think that GTO was putting down 400hp.

if he was the dyno was broken.

I put down 360 , and slow sho has a ls2 gto with headers and a tune and he put down 385.

He beat me good, which is understandable since he is putting down 25 more Hp and his car is a about 2-300 lbs lighter (he weighed in at 3600 at the track, the v weights around 3800 ? )

Somethings not making sence in the video posted.

The only mods on that V car catback and intake ?or does it have more

I think either that GTO isnt making a true 400whp or its a realy bad driver...(sounds like the GTO hit rev limiter a few times so i asume hes not a very good driver )

I had the lowerseat cushion removed as well the upper seat back and rear deck. I was replacing my factory sub. So I rode around with it that way for a week or so. After that race I removed the front seat and that made a world of difference. The car is lowered on eibach sprins and it was close to stock height with these items removed. oh yea LS6 > LS2, I prove it everytime I race one.

The dyno may have been broken. It dyno'd 345 there then after his head work, headers, intake, etc. It made 407 whp on the same dyno. It also was me banging off the limiter, its how I do things. My rev Limiter is set around 6850, its hard to see up there, I let it hit once sometimes and slam. Works every time. He is not a bad driver check some off my other Videos he is the GTO racing the srt 8 jeep and the Corba. I think he is on here may get him to chime. Also not sure why you are doubting the outcome. He started pulling on me when I hit 5th gear at 127. By 140 he had me by two cars. I let out and he stayed in it. According to me I won 20-120 race, according to him he wanted to race until he got ahead, everybody hates loosing. end rant/

i hate to say it but put the damn seats back in the car its a freakin cadillac not a drag car. its a disgrace to the car to gut the nice interior to hope to get another thousandth out of it. if you want to gut a car buy a mustang.

What are your mods since your rev limiter is set to 6800 ?

have you even dyno's?



I disagree on the ls6>then ls2, the LS2 is a much better highway motor, the extra .3 liters always take the edge in the higher rpms.
The ls2 cts-v dyno more aswell.

Your opinion doesn't count your car doesn't make any power .

Ive raced countless LS2 GTOs and none have given me a challenge my ls1 camaro was faster same bolts then an ls2 gto. and the ls2 has alittle punch down low my ls6 screams up top i made 378rwhp untuned full bolt ons on my V and making 430 cammed LOL.

They really don't make more power that little .3 doesn't make a difference when the ls2 intake manifold gets out flowed by a 78mm ls6 LOL.

I do a lot of tunning with efi live now, I used to have hp tuners. I got certfied as a engine tuner. I have a wideband, and laptop. Not sure exactly how much I make havn't been to the dyno in a while. I'd say around 345 or so, maybe less. It just works not sure how, but it does. I originally increased the rev limiter to hit 170mph in 5th and let it catch a tad higher in 6th to do topend runs. It worked.
