I posted up the pics in the FI section but I figured I would post so in here to. its an 05 V with less than 30kmiles on it. when we cracked the covers it seriously looked like it didnt have 5Kmiles on it. you could eat of the inside of this thing! The car started the build with a whole bunch of mod. its got a full suspension, sway bars, brakes and line have all be upgraded, headers, Corsa Catback, Shifter, Hendrix axles, etc... you get the idea, basicly all the things you would want and then some! We took it a step further with the 112 Maggie setup, Cat delete pipes, 90mm TB, Hendrix blower cam, PAC valve springs, and some chromoly push rods. The total build taking our time from start to finish took 19hrs. at least 2 or those hours was fixing the piss poor fitment and missing brackets on the heat exchanger!
VIDEO!!!!!!!! Not the greatest quality but itll do for now
Hey dont be crackin jokes about our midget mechanic! hes sensitive about his height but hes great for the hard to reach bolts! haha He just turned one and already looks like a pro!
IT WILL BE AT THE SHHOTOUT! haha Gooch is a little nervous about racing it and breaking the rear so the launches will be real soft but at least itll be there! Hes got to represent since our turbo TA wont be done
Dyno #s? You guys tune it or send it somewhere else for that? LOVE the no hood fly-by at the end of the video too!
haha ya no hood no front bumper! and that was a 3rd gear ~3K rpm roll on haha its gonna be nasty at WOT!
We didnt tune his, we have a guy thats AWESOME working on a base tune that he'll email us so we can get rid of the hypertech "tune". then we will meet up with him donw in huntsville and get on the dyno! weve got to get his boost gauge mounted up first. Im really hoping to see 500hp...
Make sure you get all the caddy guys over there calling him GOOCH!!! haha
How long would you say the cam install part of the build took?
We had the cam swap portion done in about 9 hour. Started it around 3 in the afternoon on friday and had it done and buttoned all back up by midnight. Its a HELL of alot easier workin on the V's than F bodies. The access to everything is soooo nice.
Dang, Justin FINALLY got his car put together. Kudos. That is EERILY similar to my pending build. From battery to FRC's to Color scheme to maggie to TB etc etc....
It's like a look into my own future!
Kudos Justin!

damn that is my car ont he outside, but with a lot more stuff under the hood.....maybe we should meet up and ill steal your keys and drive yours home, you wouldnt know till you started mine lol.
the only thing i disagree on is the corsa catback, all cammed cars that i have heard or cars with longtubes and corsa, have a crappy tinny sound on the rev down. otherwise the car sounds badass.
