I ran two different ones at the track in the same night. both had a spacer, tune and one had a cat back exhaust. it was the 60' that i lost on. after that neither made any major gains, from a roll on the street i have beat one. the charger's are 2-300 pounds heavier from what I hear also
i beleive they are about 800 more?!!! i only know because my buddy has an 08 and i spanked on him hard 3 different times. so all i hear about now is how his is so mch heavier
12psi and a 15 spike on a stock motor? I do believe I will call the BS flag on that one. But maybe? I know nothing about Nissan. In any event, I do like the nizmo 350's. They look nice. A guy at our base has one but its N/A if I'm not mistaken. I've never seen in intercooler.
It's possible on the 07 350Z they have the new VQ35HR engine which is way stronger internally than the old VQ35DE engine. The bottom end and the rods are much improved and seem to have been built for boost. There was some speculation that the HR engine was basically a test mule for the GT-R project. They also have dual intakes, thus the reason for TT.
so just to throw this out ther. i race a bone stock srt-8 charger tonite from a dig twice!
good news won both!
first run- neck to neck off line pull half car on him 1/4 mile!
second run- i pull off half car off line and got him 3/4 a car 1/4 miles! 0-150 he was a on my bumper!!
so stock for stock my 04 stock cts-v vs. srt-8 was best race a i have ever had racing!! if u get chance run one cause there great compition! dont miss a gear though
Very nice, that's exactly how I thought it would go down. Those are the best races too. LS2 GTO's, SRT8's and CTS-V's should all be very close cars, on average. Good kill, you should also post this in our street racing section.
