Default 1994 Firebird Formula LT1

My daily driver got hit bad, and insurance is going to pay enough to get another reliable car, so it looks like I might have to sell. Details are below, the ad is my generic one so some parts might not be needed for this site lol.

1994 Firebird Formula, T-tops 6spd manual and V8 car. Fun car to drive, turns lots of heads, sounds amazing. Looking for 7500 obo.

It still gets around 26 miles to the gallon on the highway thanks to the 6 speed, so gas is not that bad in this car and its fun to drive.

For those that don't know a Formula is essentially a Trans Am with the Firebird body. Same LT1 powerplant as the Camaro Z28 or SS. This car is repainted Dark Silver Grey from the Mustang Cobra (no accidents, car was originally purple, hence repaint). Originally a US car, winter stored, well maintained. Chassis has 140k miles (would never tell, lots spent in upkeep) motor is a 1997 unit with 80k miles (stock motor spun bearing at dealers mistake, was replaced). Have spent alot (thousands) of money on preventative maintaince ensuring the car runs well. Recently put in:

- New Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
- New Spark Plugs (ask a mechanic how much it is to do this on an LT1)
- New EGR valve
- New Catalytic Convertor
- New belt
- New Alternator
- New coolant lines
- New thermostat and rad cap
- Computer scan and tune to make sure everything is in order
- New Optima red top battery
- New battery harness

Car also has some solid performance modifications such as:
- Magnaflow catback
- Trickflow intake elbow
- K/N filter
- SLP Airfoil
- GM A/C delete pulley (no need for AC with ttops)
- CAGS (computer gearshift) removed
- Hurst short throw shift with chrome stick and classic black shift knob
- ALDL to USB Scanning cable (to hook up to laptop for tuner or datalogging)

Other modifications include
- ASCD "Big Block" hood
- 19'' ADR X-Factor wheels with 255/40/19 Goodyear Eagle F1 Tires
- Autometer gauges in centre dash (not hooked up yet, will include hardware)
- New black carpet
- Alpine IDA X300 Alpine deck with built in ipod controller and output for sirius radio, cd changer etc
- Infinity Reference component speakers front and rear
- 5% tint (driver side could use a retint, not needed IMO)

Was imported from the US this spring, can supply importation documents, as well as Etest (should still be valid) and safety (no longer valid, but needs nothing) papers. Has power windows, power locks, keyless entry and power seats.

Will include stock hood (painted DSG as well) and stock rims as well as various other stock parts at asking price. Not looking to part out at all or trade so do not email me with those requests please.

Only known issue is that you have to hold it to click into reverse, which I am told is common on the T56 6speed cars, takes about a day to get used to then you fall into the habit of doing it. Letting everyone know for the sake of disclosure.

Car is located in the Windsor/Tecumseh area, can be seen on weekends/weeknights if serious, please no time wasters or joy riders, I love this car and want to see it go to a good home, if not I will garage it and try to find a cheap daily driver. Only selling because I need a car that I can drive to the office everyday. If you have a cash offer below $7500 I am willing to hear it so long as its fair.

Email me at laffy_23@hotmail.com or pm me.

Detailed pictures are below.

Thanks for all the comments guys, buyers were saying the same thing but offering me low low low amounts, so i decided to keep it actually lol. Gonna find a WS6 hood, leather TA interior and lower it. Plus I got a LE heads cam and intake package to go on.

So I guess this add can be closed haha.

Tentatively back for sale, have a new position at work and back in University, leaves me no time to drive the car and even less time to work on it.

Has an ignition issue right now, I'm replacing the opti and WP as soon as I get an chance, would sell for less if buy wants to diy. It runs fine, just idles funny and stumbles down low once it runs for 20-30min. Has Longtubes and ORY now, as well as 2x12'' subthump box. Will include my LE heads and intake and comp cc306 cam package for the right price.

Sucks but I feel i owe it to myself to list it right now, but if it doesnt sell I won't be crushed.
