| Help me out guys Whats up guys. I use to post here alot but since I sold my 98 SS back in Jan. 07 I haven't been around much. I got into bikes for a while and that didn't turn out great for me. I wrecked my 06 GSXR 750 the day after I got it and spent the next 5 months laid up recovering from 3 knee surgerys. So now I'm back in the mood for a fast car. I was considering a new 2010 SS but I'm not sure I want to put all that money into car at this time. I found a 98 SS vert with 45,000 miles for $14,000. It's bone stock and in great condition. I have had several LS1 f-bodys but never a vert. It would only be a weekend car since I have a 07 Z-71 that I drive for work. What do you guys think of this? You guys that have verts give me your opinions. If you know of another car that my be a better deal let me know about that too. I want a 98 and up Camaro or T/A 6-speed car with under 80000 miles. Thanks guys. |

| personally i like the look of the camaro's better BUT with the new camaro's comming out soon, the value of 2002 and under camaro may nosedive. Financially, if your looking to resale sometime in the next few years the Trans Am would *more than likely* be the better choice. And from my knowledge, they dont have any plans to re-produce TA's.
mechancally they are both VERY similar, so if value is not an issue go for what YOU want more. To my knowledge they are the same car in a different body.
Both great cars! Best of luck to ya bro!
