Thumbs up My 2001 Gmmg Camaro ss Pics!!!

I've been on this forum for a while now and never put up any photos of my car, so I figured it was about time. Click on the pic to hear what she sounds like, nothing crazy. I couldnt figure out how to place the video directly on the thread, newb what can I say. I have a 2001 camaro ss with the gmmg phase 1 package rated at 380hp with 28k miles on it, not a single mark on her. Its got umi subframe connectors and bmr rear lower control arms. The car is pretty much stock till January when I have some time to work on her

Man, the car is beautiful and sounds great. Enjoy it to the fullest. Post some more clips of it when you get the mods put on.

Take Care dude,

Nice car - have fun with it. You say its a GMMG car, so is it a Berger, Tom Henry, Hot Rod Edition, Intimidator? What is its unique GMMG brass tag number?

When I bought it from the original owner a while back he said when he bought it in 2001 he bought the gmmg phase 1 performance package that you could buy directly from gmmg, they had phases 2 and 3 as well. Sadely he didnt have the original paperwork to prove any of it, so I just took his word on it.

It should have a brass tag with its number from GMMG if it is a real phase 1..

If its a rear GMMG, I would try to keep as low miles and as stock as possible. The probably as rare as a real Yenko, so you never know, they might be worth a lot some day. Or fuck it, just enjoy and drive that car the way it was meant to be driven. . .

ya it doesnt have one a tag, but these were kits that you bought afterwrods, not changed by dealerships, heres a link to one with the phase 2 package that they only made 50 of in 2002.

I'm a little iffy about this... If I were you, since the previous owner does not have ANY of the documentation to support his claim, I would contact Matt Murphy with the vin to verify it. Those GMMG stickers can be bought for $10 a piece and slapped on there. It is a good looking car nontheless but I would do it just to be sure you didn't get hosed. I guess my point is a GMMG exhaust doesn't make it a GMMG car...

Ya from looking at it I am guessing it is not a real GMMG car. I hope you didn't over pay. It is a very nice car but doesn't appear to be a GMMG car however. I may have GMMG on it, which does sound great...

I know that, but he said they issued so many gmmg kits, where it came with exhaust, intake, and ported heads. click on the link a couple comments up, thats the phase 2 kit. I dont know if hes telling the truth or not, cause I bought the car cause it was clean.

I bought it cause there was not a mark on it, and paid 18k for it. The gmmg added a nice touch, whether hes telling the truth or not, but Im gonna call gmmg and find out.
